En Kai Pan is a women-led social and cultural cooperative established in 2014 by Tiziana Sellato, Stefania Bruno and Loredana Stendardo. It was founded to bring together the diverse skills and professional backgrounds of its members in research, writing, music, audiovisual production and performing arts, and to transform these competencies into a shared cultural and social vision.
En Kai Pan operates as a cultural incubator that combines artistic production, capacity building and community engagement. Its work is grounded in active learning and cooperation, which form the basis of a model for creating, promoting and disseminating artistic and cultural projects, services and products.
We see culture as a vital force that connects people, communities and places. It is through culture that individuals create and share meaning, memory and identity, while communities renew and strengthen their relationship with others. In this perspective, cultural work is not only an economic and productive activity, but also a generator of social value and collective responsibility.
Mission
Our mission is built around three main areas of action: empowering individuals through artistic training and employment opportunities; supporting local development through education, cultural enhancement, cooperation and communication; and fostering social and technological innovation by connecting craftsmanship, creativity and new technologies in order to promote a more ethical, conscious and forward-looking market.
At the heart of our work is the relationship between people and place. By developing projects rooted in the working-class neighbourhoods of the metropolitan area of Naples, En Kai Pan contributes to widening access to culture, strengthening local capacities, and supporting the social and economic growth of local communities.
Objectives
Our main objectives are to invest in people as a key resource for sustainable development; to counter social and cultural fragmentation, isolation, and limited access to tangible and intangible heritage; and to strengthen communities through shared project design and a network of local and national initiatives.
We respond to the needs of our beneficiaries through active training, employment pathways, project development, and the production and dissemination of cultural products and services.
